OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY SERVICES (OB/GYN)
Salud’s clinics offer both pregnancy care management and women’s gynecological services. In addition, Salud participates in California’s Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) to provide education, psychosocial and nutritional assessments and referrals to the WIC program. (Women, Infants and Children) for pregnant women receiving Medi-Cal assistance. Through CPSP Salud also provides baby and child equipment for new mothers.
Gynecologic Services:
- Breast cancer screening including mammogram referrals
- Cervical cancer screening
- Colposcopy
- Family planning
- Pregnancy testing
- Limited urinary incontinence evaluation
- Surgical & in-patient gynecologic care
Obstetrical Services:
- All-risk prenatal care through delivery
- Ultrasound
- Nonstress tests
- Sweet Success Program (for on-site management of gestational diabetes)
CPSP (Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program):
- Assistance with MediCal enrollment
- Education including breast feeding, birth process, nutrition, child abuse, domestic violence and CPR
- Referrals to appropriate programs
- Equipment for babies and children including car seats
