Salud Para La Gente Community Outreach Services announces an enhanced food distribution event.
As part of our continued service to the community, on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, Salud Para La Gente will distribute 300 chickens for Thanksgiving dinner to patients and families in the Watsonville area.
156 families who routinely visit Salud’s free food distribution on Wednesdays from 1-2:00 at Salud’s main clinic located at 204 Beach Street will receive a surprise ticket for a free chicken.
Another 144 families will receive a surprise free bag of food at their visit to one of our dental, medical or prenatal care clinics.
