PHYSICIAN-OB/GYN - 2 FULL TIME POSITION

DESCRIPTION: DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer and in close working relationship with the Clinic Business Manager and the Chief Medical Officer Associate, provides comprehensive preventive, diagnostic and treatment services for women who have a disease or disorder of the reproductive; that offer regular medical examinations to ensure health and detect abnormalities; and which provide care for women during pregnancy, childbirth and the period immediately following childbirth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid California OB/GYN Physician's license
  • Maintains an updated CPR certificate, valid California driver’s license, and a valid DEA license
  • Board certified or Board Qualified in OB/GYN practice
  • Fluent bilingual Spanish/English
  • Eligible for Physician's Assistant Supervisory license
  • Ability to obtain/maintain hospital admitting privileges at local hospital as required/indicated by Chief Medical Officer

MEDICAL ASSISTANT - 2 ON CALL POSITIONS

DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the Clinic Business Manager, is responsible for assisting in the clinic's back office, including patient medical intake, assisting practitioners in medical procedures, minor triage, sterilizing equipment, maintaining stocked exam rooms, and stabilizing clinic flow. Is responsible for testing and reporting results of lab specimens, and maintaining the lab area.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited vocation school and two years experience working as a Medical Assistant or Lab Assistant
  • Experience with venipuncture, immunizations, and microscope use
  • Willingness to work with HIV infected clients
  • Fluent bilingual Spanish/English required; bicultural preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid CA drivers license and current vehicle insurance

CONTROLLER

DESCRIPTION: Under the direct supervision of the Chief Financial Officer the Controller has responsibility for supervision of accounting staff, purchasing, billing supervisor, and record keeping of the financial operations of the agency’s fiscal department. Assists the Chief Financial Officer in the preparation of financial statements, budget and grant budgets. The Controller works in close cooperation with all managers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • CPA certification
  • BA in Accounting or related field
  • Experience working with Workers’ Compensation billing
  • Experience working with the following state programs and rules:
    • MediCal
    • MediCare
    • Child Health Disability Prevention (CHDP)
    • Family Pact
    • Healthy Families
    • Cancer Detection Program (CDP)
    • Bilingual Spanish/English (preferred)
    • Experience with standard medical coding

PATIENT SERVICE COORDINATOR (DENTAL) FULL TIME

DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Clinic Business Manager or Designee, provides responsible, independent patient services coordination in a community clinic office setting. The Patient Services Coordinator (PSC) interviews patients, collects pertinent information required to maintain a complete registration in the medical records, is knowledgeable about the various funding sources and insurance plans. Works closely with the Lead Medical/Dental Assistant in coordinating patient flow.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Fluent bilingual Spanish/English with cultural competence
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in medical office receptionist and/or records
  • Experience with computer medical entry
  • Excellent alphabetical and numerical skills for filing and payment processing

REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT- 1 FULL TIME & 1 ON-CALL

DESCRIPTION: Under the direct supervision of the Dental Director or the Clinic Dentist, the Dental Assistant will assist the Dentist in the provision of dental services to the patients, both front and back office

Minimum Qualifications:

  • CPR Certificate
  • X Ray License
  • Current Register Dental Assistant State License (RDA)
  • Coronal Polish Certification
  • Knowledge and experience working with dental patients and dental equipment
  • Knowledge of both front and back office dental procedures
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required

DENTIST- ON-CALL

DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of Dental Director, provides basic dental services for clinic patients, including but not limited to: diagnosis, treatment planning, routine restorative care, periodontal treatment, oral surgery, endodontic treatment, prosthetics and pediatric dentistry. Emphasizes the importance of education and prevention to patients and staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Posses a degree from an accredited dental school
  • Have a current, valid license to practice dentistry; issued by the California State Board of Dental Examiners
  • Be up to date on current dental practices and materials
  • Posses or obtain certification in Basic Cardio Life Support within six months of employment
